PRAYER AND POLITICS

Euregio Meuse-Rhine is a supranational region created in 1976 with the goal of creating socio-economical and socio-cultural cooperation between the regions within it.

 

The Euregio covers the Belgian provinces of Liège (with the German speaking community) and Limburg (Belgium), the area of South-Limburg (the Netherlands) and the western part of the Cologne region (Germany). The particularity of this area is that it is the crossing point of three countries, three different languages and several other local languages.

 

We believe that God desires to give one heart and one mind to the Church of this region, whatever the denomination, whatever the language and whatever the country. Such a situation would be historically unique in this part of the world. We believe that this would bring healing for the whole of Europe as well.

 

Prayer is the key and in that aim, we want to encourage Christians from each city, town or village of this area to stimulate them to pray in any way but more particularly through the 24/7 Prayer concept.
